I'm Emma Gibbs, a freelance whisky copywriter working exclusively with whisky brands, distilleries, retailers, independent bottlers and agencies.

About Me

Originally with a background in financial research, I became a freelance writer in 2019, writing for luxury and heritage brands.

In 2022, after writing randomly for a well-known whisky brand, something clicked, and I knew that whisky and spirits was all I wanted to focus on.

Why?

The provenance, the culture, the glamour, the history, the technicality.

It all appeals to me, and I haven't looked back since.
